About
Officially launched on December 5, 2024, the Centre for AI-Enabled Health (CAIEH), pronounced "Kai-Ya", is a collaborative initiative by HL7 Singapore and OHDSI Singapore. This platform is dedicated to advancing AI-driven innovation in healthcare, with a core focus on developing health data standards, ensuring interoperability, fostering innovation, and promoting the ethical implementation of AI technologies across the region.

What happens when AI joins the healthcare team… and tries to care?Error 404: Care Not Found© is a comic series that uses humor and storytelling to shine a light on the real-world challenges of AI in healthcare - from data deluge and algorithmic bias to digital fatigue and runaway governance.Through wit and empathy, we aim to:
🔸Demystify artificial intelligence in healthcare🔸Raise awareness of limitations, ethics, and real-world challenges🔸Engage professionals, patients, and policymakers alikeEach comic is intentionally crafted to provoke thought, laughter, and maybe even a bit of discomfort. Because sometimes, the best way to learn… is through a robot that’s trying its best.Drawn by AI… but not reallyWe use generative AI to help bring the comics to life, but don’t be fooled, this isn’t auto-generated fluff. Every comic is written, scripted, and art-directed by human creators.In a way, it’s a meta-story: we use AI to make comics about AI, and just like AI in healthcare - it works best when humans lead with intention.
The CreatorsError 404: Care Not Found© is the creation of Prof. Adam CHEE and Prof. TAN Jen Hong - real-world practitioners who wanted to try a more engaging way to raise awareness about AI in health. Instead of more slides, we turned to comics - a lighter, more human way to spark conversations about the future of AI in healthcare.
